Your smile is your best asset in my opinion. It is the first thing people see when they meet you. Because I interact with people on a daily basis, I take great pride when it comes to my smile and try my best to make sure my teeth are healthy and pearly white. I visit the dentist for a cleaning every 6 months, because I want them to be vibrant and white at all times. I use other tools to get the smile that I want but consistency is key. Below are 4 ways to achieve a bright smile just like me.
Whitening Strips
Whitening strips are an effective way to brighten your teeth. The average price for a box of whitening strips are between $25-$45 . They usually come in a box of 20 strips. While they are very affordable, the downside is they will last you less than 30 days if you use them daily. They also take much longer to whiten your teeth compared to the other whitening tools I will mention. If you use them consistently you will see results which is the benefit of using them consistently.

Teeth Whitening Trays
Teeth Whitening trays are a good, long term solution to get a brighter smile. Usually, impressions are taken of your teeth and sent out for custom trays to be made. You then apply bleaching solution to the trays and insert the trays in the upper and lower parts of your month. You let them set for a specified time and your teeth should become brighter. I used whitening trays for a long time and received great results. There is also an option you can purchase from the store but I haven’t tried them to give my opinion.

Whitening Toothpaste
Whitening toothpaste is by far the least expensive way to brighten you teeth. While you will see results, this process is a extremely slow one . If you are looking for instant results you probably wont see it in whitening toothpaste. I recommend a whitening toothpaste to be used in addition to whatever whitening solution you try. If your teeth are already white, the toothpaste is a great way to maintain you results. I use whitening toothpaste twice a day when brushing my teeth.
LED Teeth Whitening
Laser teeth whitening is the most expensive of all of them all but it is known to give you instant results. The process usually requires the whitening product to be applied to your teeth. You are then instructed to set under a LED light for 2 thirty minute sessions. If this process is done correctly, your teeth should brighten up a few shades. I recently made a visit to my friends over at BeatandBlade for a teeth whitening session and I was very satisfied with the results. For long lasting results it is recommended that you get this process done every 3-6 months. If you are Houston are surrounding areas and would like you try LED whitening for yourself, you can use the code: BEATANDBLADE to receive 15% OFF your first visit.
If you are not in the Houston area or simply so don’t want to pay for the LED teeth whitening, try the Handheld teeth whitening LED light. The process is very similar but you can do it in the comfort of your own home. I use a pretty strong gel when whitening so I am unsure of the gel strength of the handheld ones. They can be found on Amazon for about $20 so they are differently worth a try. However you decide to achieve a brighter smile please remember to take care of your teeth first. What is the point of getting them nice and white only to have them fall out or have to be removed due to neglecting them and not taking care of them first.
