Fall Furry …..

I am super obsessed with the denim on denim trend. I remember as a teenager, growing up in Louisiana, my mom purchased a denim Levi jacket with the matching denim jeans for me one Christmas and I wore it out! With Christmas drawing near I stepped out to grab a few presents for friends and family. I have been in such an awesome mood lately. It is definitely the most wonderful time of the year.       Outfits Details: Boyfriend Jeans Target (here), Denim shirt Target (here), Fur Vest local boutique  (similar

Plaid & Leather

I absolutely love leather. I would wear it all year round if I could but I am in Houston Texas so that would not be very smart. The only thing I hate is the fact that leather is not quite forgiving. For a curvy girl like myself, without the right undergarments I would look three months pregnant. I adore plaid as well because it is so easy to dress up or down. I purchased this cute pom pom cap from BCBGeneration (here), my plaid shirt is from Marshalls ,faux leather skirt is from ASOS

Move over food truck there is a new sheriff in town but she is not serving tacos or hot wings, she is serving faux fur coats and fabulous dresses !! Luxe Style Truq is a new mobile fashion truck owned and operated by fellow stylist Shira Kay. The adorable fashion truck is decked out with black and white strips and gold accent. The truck offers trendy clothing and accessories for women, there are also items for men.  Yesterday I attended the launch party of Luxe Fashion Truq. The event was held at Archway Gallery

Happy Thanksgiving !!! This year has been a very trying one but I am extremely thankful for the good and the bad. Usually I travel to my home town in Louisiana for Thanksgiving, however this year I decided to create new memories and host a few friends. I am not much of a cook but with the assistants of my bestie, everything  turned out great ! Today I wore a nude zipper sweater (similar here), black liquid jeans from Target (here) my hat is from Forever 21 ( similar here)  and booties are from Steve Madden (similar here)

Back to Basics….

The weather has not been so great here in Houston which is such a bummer. It rained all day so I had to snap a few pictures really quickly before it came down heavily. As I was posing for  pictures outside of a friends apartment the FedEx guy literally parked and watched LOL. I was so mad because the rain was starting to come down so I basically was photo bombed by the Fed Ex guy. I decided to go back to basics and try not to put so much thought into my

We had beautiful weather this weekend in Houston so I decided to go out and enjoy it. To be honest I hate wearing skirts above the knee but I am trying to get out of my comfort zone. I purchased this Cynthia Rowley skirt a while ago and decided to give it a try (similar here). I styled it with a white classic button up and a grey sweater with a beaded collar also by Cynthia Rowley  (similar here) however it is kind of hard to see it in the pictures.  I

I must admit, I do not wear sneaker much but I am happy they are trendy this season. Do not get me wrong sneakers are here to stay but the fact that they are put with more feminine looks is exciting. I am super happy I held onto a few pair of New Balance because they  are becoming very popular again. I put them on with a comfy sweater I got from Forever 21 (old) and a sporty skirt from Marshalls. I put my hair in a bun and wore a headband

I went apartment hunting over the weekend which I absolutely dread. For the frustrating occasion I throw on a pair of boyfriend jeans by Levi (similar here) a stripped shirt from a local boutique (similar here). My twist are on its last leg so I pulled my hair up in a bun and put on a cute headband I got from Forever 21.  It is still rather warm in Houston right now so I wore my favorite Zara sandals. My clutch bag is Forever 21 as well which completed my casual look.

This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending the launch party of Sneaker Gang sneakers at Hudson Lounge here in Houston. Sneaker Gang owner, Marc Boone, designed the snake print lace ups becoming the first pair of sneakers out of Houston Texas. The event was sponsored by D’ussè, Haze Hookah tobacco, and Private Club exotics. Music producer Bryan Michael Cox hosted the event. With D’ussè flowing and hookah blowing Sneaker Gang launch party was the place to be this past Saturday night. The party was not just about fun,

Motor Boots….

It has not quite been a month since I have launched my blog and I am having writers block already. I am also having trouble finding cool locations to shoot and do not forget the fact that I am still learning to use my camera. I know it will get better with time but blogging is harder than I thought. LOL Anyway, On the way to my car I saw this cool motorcycle. I felt that I had already dressed the part so I decided to take pictures by it
