Back to Basics….

The weather has not been so great here in Houston which is such a bummer. It rained all day so I had to snap a few pictures really quickly before it came down heavily. As I was posing for  pictures outside of a friends apartment the FedEx guy literally parked and watched LOL. I was so mad because the rain was starting to come down so I basically was photo bombed by the Fed Ex guy. I decided to go back to basics and try not to put so much thought into my

We had beautiful weather this weekend in Houston so I decided to go out and enjoy it. To be honest I hate wearing skirts above the knee but I am trying to get out of my comfort zone. I purchased this Cynthia Rowley skirt a while ago and decided to give it a try (similar here). I styled it with a white classic button up and a grey sweater with a beaded collar also by Cynthia Rowley  (similar here) however it is kind of hard to see it in the pictures.  I

I must admit, I do not wear sneaker much but I am happy they are trendy this season. Do not get me wrong sneakers are here to stay but the fact that they are put with more feminine looks is exciting. I am super happy I held onto a few pair of New Balance because they  are becoming very popular again. I put them on with a comfy sweater I got from Forever 21 (old) and a sporty skirt from Marshalls. I put my hair in a bun and wore a headband

I went apartment hunting over the weekend which I absolutely dread. For the frustrating occasion I throw on a pair of boyfriend jeans by Levi (similar here) a stripped shirt from a local boutique (similar here). My twist are on its last leg so I pulled my hair up in a bun and put on a cute headband I got from Forever 21.  It is still rather warm in Houston right now so I wore my favorite Zara sandals. My clutch bag is Forever 21 as well which completed my casual look.

This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending the launch party of Sneaker Gang sneakers at Hudson Lounge here in Houston. Sneaker Gang owner, Marc Boone, designed the snake print lace ups becoming the first pair of sneakers out of Houston Texas. The event was sponsored by D’ussè, Haze Hookah tobacco, and Private Club exotics. Music producer Bryan Michael Cox hosted the event. With D’ussè flowing and hookah blowing Sneaker Gang launch party was the place to be this past Saturday night. The party was not just about fun,

Motor Boots….

It has not quite been a month since I have launched my blog and I am having writers block already. I am also having trouble finding cool locations to shoot and do not forget the fact that I am still learning to use my camera. I know it will get better with time but blogging is harder than I thought. LOL Anyway, On the way to my car I saw this cool motorcycle. I felt that I had already dressed the part so I decided to take pictures by it

It was very hot in Houston this weekend so I put on a comfy hoodie and skirt set I purchased for Marshalls to run to errands. I wore my favorite metallic Kate Spade clutch and a pair of heels that were gifted to me by solecietyshoetique and off I went.

This weekend was quite peaceful so I decided to get dressed and go site seeing in the city. As I started to drive, I notice a beautiful little creek with a waterfall so I pulled over to snap a few pictures. I had a dinner date later in the evening so I decided to wear a suit by Vince Camuto. The suit bottoms were actually capris but I did not like the way they fit so I got them trimmed into shorts. I threw on my favorite Steve Madden sandals of the moment and

A nude shoe is a must have in every women’s closet. It is the go to shoe for prints, patterns or bold solid  silhouettes. I believe every women should invest in a nude pump, sandal and boot. I am obsessed with  Christian Louboutin nude collection because he was genius enough to design a nude shoe for females with a darker hue.  My nude lust list consist of Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, and Stuart Weitzmen. I am saving my coins to purchase as I type.

Black Out…

I was such a tomboy as a kid. I remember running around with the boys, getting dirty and my mom would be so upset. I was introduced to heels in high school and I quickly turned my sneakers in for pumps. Though I wear sneakers from time to time, nothing can take the place of a high heeled shoe to me. When I wear  men inspired looks, and want to make them a little sexy I put on a nice heel to give it a more feminine feel. My friends would tell you that I
