It is always fun to wear athleisure  attire other than when working out. I am still trying to get into an active workout routine . In the mean time I’ll just continue wearing my athleisure attire . Any excuse to wear heels is always great to me. This look could totally be worn with sneakers and still be considered athleisure. With the weather being so warm in Houston, one might think I’m a little nuts for wearing so many clothing . The good thing about layering is they can come off. If you are into the athleisure trend, I definetly recommend you try it!

Independence Day is over but I totally think this outfit is perfect for a patriotic occasion this one. If you have been following the blog for sometime, it should come as no surprise that this dress is from Who What Wear X Target. It is by far one of my favorite budget friendly brands. Seersucker has been very popular the past few seasons. It has definitely come a long way from the suit you daddy use to love to wear for Easter LOL. I paired the dress with a simple strap sandal and red Kate Spade bag. Of course I had to add my favorite red lip to finish it off.

Happy Sunday everyone!

Hey guys, my life has been so crazy the last few months I have been going back and fourth with the idea of putting blogging on the back burner . I have taken a break recently but sometimes I wonder what do I want to accomplish with blogging? However, every time I decide I want to walk away I am always given a new awesome opportunity. While I am far from where I want to be with blogging and I very thankful for the progress I have made so far. Hopefully some of you can relate. What are some things you do when you want to get out of a

Happy Friday!! So excited the weekend is here. Texas avoided a really big storm but now the sun is out and I am off to run some errands. I am such a fan of kimonos and the colors of this one gives me total 70s vibe. Graphic tees will forever be a part of my weekend wardrobe. They are so comfy and fun. I never would have thought that I would be wearing mom jeans. They are become so popular this season and I am totally in to the at the moment. I decided to pair this look with a pair of platform heels a fun fringed bag and a studded leather belt to finish it out!

Hey guys, this is just a fun little play look to put together. I am such a fan of daddy hats with the cute phrases that I had to pick this “Culture” one up. The brand, Dear Designer, uses popular brands and twist the wording to their own catch phrase. This particular hat is of course inspired by the newly resurrected brand, Champion. Celebrites are totally obsessed with Champion at the moment. I purchased this tank out if the mens department top pair with my cap. I paired it with the a pair of oh so popular mom jeans and a pair if heels to dress it up a little.

Hope you have great day !

Exaggerated sleeves are becoming my ultimate favorite at the moment. From bell bottom sleeves to ruffles I simply cant get enough. This top from Who What Wear X Target is no exception. I love how it flows and the black and white floral print gives is a sophisticated twist. I paired this top with a pair of fun ruffle pants for the brand as well. I finished this look off with black heels and a pair of red shades to give this look some pop. My handbag is perfect for day or night and it will be in heavy rotation this summer.

Back to blogging and I could not be any more excited. Life is happening as we speak so I had to take some much needed time off to regroup and refocus. Between working a very stressful day job, spending time with my family and maintaining this blog, it has been a challenge for me the last few months to keep it all together. I am finally getting back on a routine so expect more consistency this time around (I hope).

One thing that has not changed since my break is my obsession with the Who What Wear Collection at Target. Sometimes I really hate writing about it because they are not paying me (lol) but I truly like the brand. Summer is quickly approaching so I am attempting to wear less. This sleeveless top caught my eye because of the ruffled detail on the collar. The ruffles on the skirt was a total win for me as well and I love that it ties on the side. My sandals are Rebecca Minkoff from a few seasons ago but they are definitely still one of my favorites. My sunnies have been in heavy rotation for a while now, and with the Texas heat I don’t plan on putting them away anytime soon.

It has been a very hectic few weeks for me so pardon my absence from the blog. I am playing catch up as we speak. From traveling, to working and moving all at the same time, this girl is in need of a vacation. Speaking of work, this look is definitely work appropriate. In fact, I think it is a cool twist to the traditional pant suits we have grown to love, or hate. This entire look, minus the heels, are from one of my favorites . You guest it, Who What Wear. If you have been following my blog for a while then it should come at no surprise how much I love the brand.

At work I am required to wear a uniform so it is always fun reliving the days I worked in corporate America. I am actually considering going back. Uniforms are so boring and I totally miss dressing up at work. My pumps were a great investment. They were a bit of a splurge but they are definitely worth every penny. While everyone is enjoying their families, I am on the road back from visiting mine in Louisiana. As the day slowly comes to an end, I want to wish you all a Happy Easter.

Spring is upon us and I am well on my way updating my wardrobe with more color and pattern. Well, sorta.  I can’t seem to drift away from denim jackets and lets not forget cool sweaters such a this one from Zaful. I have a thing for daisies. In fact, a daisy was the the very first tattoo I ever got. When I saw the cool detailing of them on this sweater, I grabbed it without thinking twice. As I continued to scroll through the Zaful website, I noticed the matching jacket. Though I need another denim jacket like I need a hole in my head, the impulse buyer in me couldn’t let it go.

Metallics always find a way to stay every season. Honestly, I thought I would be tired of the color and pleated skirts but here I am with another one. I really love how pleated skirts flow when you walk in them. They are super comfy and can be dressed up or down. You can pair them with heels or even sneakers for a cool fun look. My booties were a gift from a friend and I think they are so fun. The fuzzy green material reminds me of grass (LOL). I am in the process of moving which is not fun at all. The bright side is I am able to rumble though my closet and do some much needed spring cleaning.

Enjoy you day!

Let me start off by saying how much I love gingham. It definitely was not love at first sight. In fact, it was the total opposite. When I use to see this pattern the first thing that came to mind was picnic table, but since it has become so popular, gingham has grown on me and I now own quite a few pieces in different colors. I scored this gingham top from SheIn and I immediately fell in love with it. The balloon sleeves attracted me to it, and lets not forget the tie around belt. The top is very flattering to any and everyone and it camouflages the tummy if that is a problem area for you. The best part is, the top is under $20 so if you love it like I do, make sure you grab it from SheIn before it is gone.

I paired the top with my favorite crop WhoWhatWear jeans from Target. My colorful pumps and Versace frames were a Valentines Day gift from a friend, cute right? I could not find the exact purchasing information for either of them but I did pick out similar options for both. I finished this look off by adding a fun pair of tasseled earring and red patent leather purse. This is a lot of look to take in but I think it turned out quite well. What do you think ?

Hope you are having a great week!!
