Every year I scroll through magazines in search of the next big trend that will make waves each season. While some of them are often repeats from years before, I am always excited to add new and old trends to my wardrobe. This season is no different. There are so many trends that I am excited to try. Fortunately for me, I was able to give some of the fall trends a shot at New York Fashion Week. I have put together 5 trends that I think you should give a try this season.
- All White
Let me just start off by saying, white is my favorite color (or non color) to wear. While I don’t really consider all white to be a trend, all white in the fall is defiantly different for some. Many people like to stay away from White after Labor Day but not this girl. White makes you feel to fresh and clean but please be careful because I always have trouble keeping myself stain free when I wear it.
Capes always bring drama to any outfit. The not quite a jacket but almost a coat is a very chic why to layer without having to rest your jacket over your shoulders and hope it doesn’t fall off. Another trend I snuck into this look is the logo t-shirt/sweater. Designers have been all about the logos that past few seasons and they are defiantly still on a role.

From Kim Kardashian to Blake Lively, neon is having a moment and I think its so fun. When some mentions fall, neon colors are not what comes to mind and I think that is what excites me the most. I wore this neon turtleneck to a show and it truly turned heads. I think neon pink will be my next color to try.
4. Mixed Print
I couldn’t decide if the focus of this look should be the floral trend that will be heavy this season or the mixed print trend. I love them both so you decide. We have come a long way from grandmas wall paper or aunt’s sofa when we think of floral print. Be prepared to see lots of bold floral designs this season and I am totally here for it. In regards to mixed print, it has been one of my favorite trends for a while now so I am excited to see the trend and what others pair different patterns with this fall. Though I kept it minimal by adding a simple leopard cami, I cannot wait to go all out this season.
5. The 80s
Headbands, puffy sleeve the 80s have certainly made a comeback. I am an 8os baby so the fact that I get to recreate some of the looks that I wore growing up is pretty exciting. I didn’t have cool boots like these but I look forward to color blocking, acid washed jeans and all the things my mom didn’t allow me to wear as a child .
Which trend is your favorite?
