My look for less is from none other than the “Queen B” herself , Beyoncé. She posted this look on her Instagram a few weeks ago and I immediately knew I had to do a look for less. Though my skirt is white and black and her skirt is the opposite, black and white the ruffles, the styles are pretty similar. Beyoncé is wearing a Zimmerman Maple Skirt ($595), I scored this skirt at Target for last than $30 (Who What Wear). Beyoncé’s cropped Tshirt is from her active line Ivy

The Black Out

What is there not to love about black? The color is so chic and so polished. I can not get enough of wearing black which is why my closet if full of it. Something else I can not get enough of are suits. If you scroll through my blog you will see more than a few of them. Suits are always in style. They are very fab and are a simple way to dress up or dress down by adding a pair of flats or cool sneakers. I paired heels

Money Green

Monochromatic looks have been in heavy rotation for me this season. I love the boldness of the colors and the simplicity of the entire look. This suit has been in my closet for quite some time. I do not know if I’m surprised at the fact that the suit still fits or that I actually still like it. I do not wear sneakers that often but I totally love a good pair of Adidas. I scored these at Marshalls for about $25 so they definitely will be in

Joy Lab

Joy Lab is a new active wear brand at Target. It is trendy and made to be worn in and out of the gym. Because I am totally into athleisure wear at the moment, I had to grab a few pieces from the brand. You can never go wrong with a track suit so I decided to grab this cool red and white one. The material is really soft and the track suit is actually pretty comfortable. I think the price point is a little steep however it is on

Look For Less

Let’s face it, we all have those moments when we wish that we could just shop the closet of our favorite celebrates. I know I often scroll through social media and magazines trying to get the details of what some of my favorite  fashionable stars are wearing only to realize I can not afford it or simply do not want to pay an arm and a leg. I usually do the next best thing and search for a similar option for less. Retailers like Zara, ASOS and Steve Madden are

I have been super obessessed with berets lately . I think they are so fun and so stylish. I don’t think berets ever went away. I wear them a lot each season however they have become very popular this time around, coming in all sorts of styles and colors. Another item or trend I can not get enough of is bold red. I have been searching over a month for a pair of red boots and when I saw these I knew I had to have them. I have very

Flower Power

Even though it is Fall , floral prints are definitely a trend that is here to stay. This look is totally giving me 80s vibes and I am totally in love with the sleeves. Another trend that I am really feeling this season are white boots or booties !! Many people have a love hate relationship with white shoes of any kind but I actually really like them. I paired this look with a pair of navy blue tights and my favorite white sunnies . I am always excited

A New Day

Fall is officially here. Though Houston has yet to get the memo, that will not stop me from pulling out my winter wardrobe. If you have been following me for a while you know I am a fan of Target new brands. I like to mix highs with lows and Target usually have nice pieces for a good price. They should pay for me for advertising them so much (one day). Target now carries a new brand called “A New Day”. It’s a casual chic line and i totally love

Day & Night

The pajama trend is by far one of the best trends that has come around as of recent. I mean the fact that you can wear the most comfortable pieces of clothing in and out of the home is just genius. Though many stores have designed pajama like items that you can purchase. I have been a frequent shopper of the intimate and lingerie department to find affordable ways to grab pieces that work. Case and point, this lovely velvet robe and pant. I fell in love with the color

NYFW Day 7

NYFW Day 7 look was all about having fun. I only had a few shows so I decided to venture the city. My first stop was to visit Carrie Bradshaw home from Sex & the City. This was my second time visting the home where they filmed the sitcom but it was still very exciting. Then I had some Jamaican food with a few of my blogger friends. Last but not least, we went to a NYFW party on the roof top of a hotel. I must say this fashion
